Adapter Development#
An Adapter is a bundle of code that manages the connections between your Workflows and the other systems in your lab.
In production, Adapters are deployed to an Industrial PC that Artificial installs in your lab as part of your on-boarding process. This allows the Adapter to access lab equipment on your internal network and act as a bridge to the Artificial Cloud. During development, you can run your Adapter directly from your development environment, whether that’s a Codespace or your local machine.
